Rare Occasion When a Pitcher Should Catch a Pop-up
Pretty incredible how nonchalant Cliff Lee is on the play. He was pretty relaxed all night, throwing a complete game vs. the Yanks. Afterward, Lee (who also fielded a ball headed up the middle behind his back) said that he "doesn't get nervous in the major leagues." Lee explained that he does his work, he prepares, and so he has confidence in MLB games.
Hmm ... Confidence comes from preparation. Where have we heard that before?
